Characters

Shumma: A solitary man who has given up on love after a streak of bad luck. His life changes unexpectedly when he meets Rei, showing how a single person can transform one’s entire existence.

Rei: A mysterious, tough girl Shumma discovers in a damp alleyway. She appears cold and harsh, with eyes that pierce like fire, yet beneath her rough exterior may lie a tender heart. Her misfortunes have left her longing for a glimpse of happiness.

Lucy: The charming landlady and store owner in Shumma’s life. Despite her attractive appearance, she is a cunning gold digger, primarily interested in gaining financially from others.
