Gameplay Features

Meet your fellow survivor and together, you’ll face the harsh realities of Mad Island. The island is inhabited by native inhabitants who spend their days outdoors and sleep in their homes at night. You can interact with them, capture them, or even turn them into your captives. The natives can assist you in various tasks such as logging, excavation, and farming. You also have the option to regulate their personal activities or allow them complete freedom.

Combat and Allies

You will encounter various enemies and monsters that can either be defeated or stunned. If you tame them, they can become your allies. Strong allies will undoubtedly aid you in your exploration, providing crucial support in battles and other challenges.

Customization and Crafting

You can customize your appearance as well as that of friendly NPCs using various devices. One unique feature is the ability to deform their bodies by removing limbs, adding a touch of personalization to your characters. There are over 10 types of workbenches that allow you to craft essential items such as protective equipment, weapons, shields, clothes, torture devices, feeding cages, seasonal ornaments, and meals.

Farming, Excavation, Gathering, & Fishing

The island offers diverse opportunities for farming, excavation, gathering, and fishing. You can sow seeds to grow vegetables which you can use to cook new dishes. The underwater world is teeming with fish depending on the location. Whether you’re navigating through the surface waters or exploring the depths beneath the waves, each catch adds to your culinary repertoire.

Leveling Up & Skills

As you engage in battles, excavation, and gathering activities, your character will level up. This increase in level enhances your stats such as attack power and running speed. Additionally, your skills will also level up, enabling you to unlock new abilities that will aid you in your journey. The deeper you venture into caves and ruins, the stronger you’ll become, but beware of the traps that lie ahead.
