In the vibrant, neon-lit city of Aphrokara, where towering skyscrapers punctuate the sky, ancient entities known as the Aspects are awakening. These primal beings, born from the deepest, most hidden desires of humanity, are now stirring beneath the city’s gleaming surface. As they awaken, they generate “Desire Storms,” which distort the city’s districts into complex, psychologically charged mazes.

The Role of Lisa

You take on the role of Lisa, a member of the fragmented Order of the Veil, who is tasked with eliminating these distortions. However, Lisa carries a hidden burden: her own suppressed desires inadvertently amplify the Aspects’ power. This internal conflict forces her to navigate a perilous balance between her duty to purge the distortions and the temptation of succumbing to her own hedonistic impulses.

Rival Factions and Their Goals

As Lisa grapples with her internal struggle, two rival factions are vying for control over the Desire Storms. The Church of the Unseen, with its strict, puritanical ideology, and the Syndicate of Flesh, which embraces hedonism, both seek to exploit the Storms for their own purposes. The fate of Aphrokara hangs in the balance, as Lisa’s decisions will ultimately determine whether the city will become a paradise of liberated desire or a dystopian landscape of unending craving.
